A few minutes ago, I was riding the high of having two documentaries done in one year. One is a film that delves into America’s pressing affordable housing crisis, tracing its historical roots and societal impact. The other is the story about an agency coming out of a three-decades-long lawsuit.
That latter is my third documentary. I just received news that my first doc, “Sing the Heart of the Magic: A Jennifer L. Nelson Story”—which won the Silver Award at the 2022 Spotlight Documentary Film Awards—is an Official Selection of the North Beach Film Festival! I WILL be there.
Oh, what a life!
